I have never seen this movie but I know that there is one. I never enjoy a movie as much as if I have read the book first. I think my imagination is always pituring it in the highest light! Well, Ella is a rebel and you find out when you read more into the book. Even though she is under a spell and has to do what she is told, I love how she makes it work for her. If Ella is told to hold a bowl, she has to do it until she is asked to stop but the rebel in her holds it while walking in a circle through the kitchen. This is hilarious!

Oh wow! Thats a really different concept for a book. So is she like a regular girl or a princess that got captured?
I feel the same way about movies that are books too! I expecially do this with Harry Potter! I always read the books first and then see the movie, but while I'm watching it I'm thinking to myself, oh that didn't happen like that or I can't believe they left that out!! I totally feel you on that!
Ella is an incredibly strong female character, and the movie is dumb. Don't even watch it heh.
I agree with you comment about never liking the movie as much as the book. The last time I experienced that was with The Davinci Code. The book was so amazingly better.
I liked even though she had to be obedient, she still did things her own way. Almost like with every step she was trying to really disobey.
